ruby-em-hiredis software package provides fast and simple Redis client for EventMachine, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ruby-em-hiredis
ruby-em-hiredis is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ruby-em-hiredis package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ruby-em-hiredis *
You will get with ruby-em-hiredis package name, version, architecture and description in a table
